Natural-looking veneers at Beacon Park Dental

If you have teeth that are chipped, discoloured, or uneven, veneers can make a significant difference to how they look, and how you feel about your smile.

Our team will take time at your consultation to understand what you'd like to change about your teeth and talk you through which type of veneer is right for you. There's no rush — we'll talk you through everything at your own pace, and there's no obligation to proceed if you're not happy with your options.

What are dental veneers?

Veneers are thin shells bonded to the front surface of your teeth to improve their shape, colour, or appearance. They're custom-made out of porcelain or composite resin to fit your teeth precisely, and can be used to address chips, gaps, staining, and minor misalignment.

Porcelain veneers are made in a laboratory to match the shade and shape of your natural teeth, and tend to be more durable and stain-resistant than composite veneers over the long term. Composite veneers are applied directly at the practice in a single visit, making them a quicker and more affordable option. Your dentist will help you decide which is the better fit for your teeth and your goals.

The cost of veneers depends on the type of veneer you choose and how many teeth you'd like to treat. Composite veneers are generally more affordable, while porcelain veneers tend to last longer. You can find our current prices on our pricing page, and we'll give you a personalised quote at your consultation — with no obligation to proceed if you're not happy with your price.

What to expect when getting veneers

Your consultation

Your dentist will examine your teeth, talk through what you'd like to change, and advise whether porcelain or composite veneers are the right option for you.

Preparation and fitting

For porcelain veneers, we remove a small amount of enamel from the front of your teeth before taking impressions to send to a laboratory. We’ll fit temporary veneers while waiting for your custom porcelain veneers.

Aftercare

With regular check-ups and straightforward care at home, porcelain veneers can last ten years or more. Your dentist will check them at your routine appointments and let you know if anything needs extra attention.

Why patients choose Beacon Park Dental for veneers

Our team has been providing cosmetic dental care from our Beacon Street practice since 2008. Alongside Vicki Hunter, our principal dentist, Josh Jackson brings a focus on restorative care that's particularly relevant when preparing teeth for veneers. Between them, they'll make sure your teeth are in the best possible condition before any cosmetic work begins.

We see patients from across Lichfield and the surrounding villages, including Fradley, Burntwood, and Whittington. You'll have as much time as you need to ask questions and feel confident before you commit to a treatment plan.
